Nova Scotia born/Toronto based, Shelley Hamilton is an award-winning artist (Juno, ANSMA) & vital part of the music scene both in Toronto and the East Coast, producing and managing her new band “Shella” with partner Stella Panacci. She is as well working to preserve her history through music and song on a musical collaboration with the group "The Afro-Metis Nation". Their album "Constitution" will be released in 2019. (

Stella Panacci, a native of Toronto, got her start in the scene as a 90’s indie pop drummer and singer for the band Kat Rocket, going on to start her own record label, Hoodwink Records. She has released 5 albums, and has played throughout  Eastern Canada and the US, touring and performing with her own works, as well as supporting other performing musical acts. She has won a Billboard music prize for her song "Take You Away" (Stella Panacci) with James Quinn, and the both of them went on to cultivate now international act "The Beaches" (Toronto, Can), at their recording/performance studio Kat Rocket Sound. She co-won the Grand Prize national songwriting competition for Standard Radio, as well as the International Competition for AAA/Roots/Americana category, in Nashville, Tenn. She continues to perform, write, and produce music solo, as well as collaborating with other artists.

After falling in love with Drake’s song, “Going Home,” Shelley decided to try her own spin on this iconic song, revamping it into a country/dance hall version sung from a female perspective with Stella. With the help of musicians Ben Healey & Tim Bovaconti, she was able to bring her vision to life. This debut single for “Shella”, with video by Justin Carter, was released on October 2018.

Bovaconti is a legendary Canadian musician, multi-instrumentalist and consummate producer, best known for his guitar work supporting Burton Cummings, Ron Sexsmith, and The Satellites, among many other Canadian acts.

Tim Bovaconti, Shelley Hamilton, and Stella Panacci began woodshedding and recording the 11 songs that Shelley and Stella wrote, arranged and sang for their upcoming debut album, released in November 2018 at The Hideout Toronto.
